Widgets are very useful tools as they gather valuable information from your account and show it to you in a very intuitive and easy way! So here’s how you can add widgets to your dashboard.
Customize your tab views within the Dashboard by adding widgets.
1. Click on ‘Dashboard’ in the left-hand menu
2. Determine the tab you would like to add the Widget to by clicking on the tab. The tab selected will be underlined.
2. Click on the 3-D box in the left corner of the Dashboard to 'Add widget'
There are 6 kinds of widgets. You can add them by clicking on the +Add Widget button:
Single Metric Charts Each one of these graphics has the detail on how they are being calculated under the title. So you can browse through the catalog and insert the ones you want to work with.
Single Metric Cards Depending on the subject, these cards will show the average information and tendency from the selected period you are working with.
Metrics comparisons Contrast two metrics from the ones in the catalog.
Account comparison Compare two high-relevance statistics between seller accounts.
List Creates a product table with daily sales statistics so you can track and customize the relevant data you want to for your ASINS.
Generic The widgets in the other tabs are presets based on these widgets. You can use the generic widgets to build your own widget from the ground up.
Hourly Metrics: This new widget displays hourly data for units ordered, orders, and revenue.
Each widget tab includes a multitude of widgets to select from.
3. Find the widget of choice and click the button 'Add to tab'
4. Continue adding widgets to this tab or, go back to the Dashboard and check the tab to see the widget inserted.
How To Edit a Widget:
Click on the three-dots menu
Click on ‘edit’ and change the title of the widget.
Lock down the data for the widget to one account. Normally the data of the widget is grouped by the selected seller accounts at the top.
Select the time range. The graph or card will update and show the corresponding data. (The date range selector at the top won’t affect the widgets locked by a time range)
Choose the type of graphic you feel most comfortable with, lines, bars, or both.
Click on ‘Save Widget’ and it will appear on your dashboard page.
This blue warning is only indicating that the information displayed by the graph is for a specific seller account and shows the seller account(s) name(s).
The calendar indicates the set time range for the widget.
To hide or show each metric on the graph, click on the name and it will be automatically adjusted.
How to Clone Widgets:
Select the widget.
Click on the 3 dots on the right up corner of the widget.
Click on Clone, and a widget with the same characteristics will be added to your tab.
Warnings will show on your widgets when one or more Seller Accounts need to be set up depending on where they extract the information from.
For example Seller Central Integration (SCI), Ad Account (PPC), or both.
This will show what account(s) needs to be fixed and the SCI issue pending to be fixed.
When your Ad account is disconnected the following message will appear on the widgets, as well as the seller account(s) pending to connect.
PPC and SCI.
When your account needs both PPC and SCI permissions it will show the following, indicating what account(s) needs to be fixed.
Multiple account Issues.
If you have more than one account that is not correctly set up you will see multiple accounts and the pending setup.
If you are not the owner of the account(s) the warning will show the following message, as you cannot solve this without their Amazon account, you will have to contact the owner of the Seller Accounts.
